Along the Trans-Canada Highway in Northern Ontario, along the Lake Superior shore, there are many places where the rock rises up like the earth's bones out of the landscape.  Signs posted along the highway warn of rockfalls, and the trees are dwarfed by the magnitude of the fallen stones.
