If you are fortunate, you can find rare plants such as the Pitcher Plant hidden
in secret marshes. Accompanying this specimen which has turned bright red
in autumn, is a Sundew. Both of these plants are carnivorous. The
Pitcher Plant contains water in which the insects drown and are then absorbed
by the plant, while the Sundew traps insects in the sticky "dew" on
its leaves.
