All over the Canadian northlands, you can find these secret little gardens of cedars, mosses, ferns, grasses and a myriad of different lichens all set off against the greys and pinks of the granite of the Canadian Shield.  This particular little rock ledge is near Big Chute, about an hour and a half north of Toronto, Ontario.
